We’ll Never be the Same Again

For a period of roughly 3 years, our family of 8 took a journey through hell and back in our fight against mold. Our normal, healthy family was suddenly sick and we didn’t know why. Dozens of doctors and specialists, scary hospital stays, ambulance rides, and ambiguous diagnoses… an endless nightmare that seemingly had no end.

There had to be a reason that the entire family was suddenly so sick and for multiple healthy kids to suddenly have life-threatening health problems.

And then we found it - a common denominator - our home was making us sick. Specifically, a hidden window leak that was causing a mold problem in a room that 2 of our daughter’s shared. It wasn’t just a freak coincidence that they both developed serious seizures and other neurological problems in a matter of months. It was the mold.

Unless you’ve been through it, you simply can’t understand the intensity of what it’s like to watch your entire family get suddenly (and violently) ill, and in the midst of dealing with health issues, trying to deal with the stress of finding the mold, remediating, cleaning or throwing away your possessions, and trying not to go bankrupt in the process.
